CULTURAL DIFFERENCES
Partners with different cultural backgrounds often don’t share the same idea of a partnership. Upbringing, different values and views on the world can be quite an intellectual and emotional challenge for both partners. It is important to understand each other’s culture and language and to show the willingness to compromise. Especially when having children all the different views on how to be a parent come to the surface. Good communication is a basis for understanding the richness of intercultural partnerships.
